Job Description
Balco a manufacturer of architectural building products is growing! We are expanding our team with people who enjoy a fastpaced teamwork environment and are passionate about working together to meet or exceed customers requirements. The Balco Engineering team focuses on Architectural Expansion Joints Fire Barriers Stair Nosings Mats and Grids Trenches and Photoluminescent products to provide highquality building solutions.
POSITION:Production Worker
REPORTS TO:Production Manager
BASIC FUNCTION:Fabricate production work orders.
HOURS:6:00 to 4:30 Monday thru Thursday

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support and follow Balco Inc.s Quality and Safety Policy.
Follow all applicable Procedures and Work Instructions.
Offer solutions for problems with product or processes.
Follow all Balcos safety rules regulations brings concerns to leadership on unsafe conditions damages or processes that need attention.
Verify extrusions are the correct length type and finish per production work order.
Fabricate per production work orders.
Insure all inspection requirements are completed.
Verify cleanliness overall appearance and quality of completed production work orders.
Complete required production paperwork and return to the Production Office.
Maintain a clean work area.
Any other assignments duties or responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor and Executive Management.
Qualifications
Proficiently read tape measure down to 1/16 for production and verification processes.
Safe and effective use of power tools and or machinery including saws drills sanders grinders nail guns punch presses and any other applicable machinery.
Inspect and verify materials to meet standards/details and ensure it meets the needs of our customers.
Participate in all necessary training functions for you position.
Demonstrate the ability to push pull and lift 50 pounds properly to prevent injury to yourself and others without damaging material/product.
Stand / walk for up to 10 hours daily while performing job requirements.
Be able to frequently push pull squat bend and reach.
Climb and descend stairs safely
Ability to read and interpret shop prints
