Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for a professional and experienced housekeeper to join a prestigious private household in Banstead with additional hours required at a second property in Kingston upon Thames. The successful candidate will work as part of a team with another housekeeper ensuring the smooth running of a busy home.
The role requires a handson approach to all housekeeping duties including deep cleaning laundry ironing wardrobe management and caring for fine furnishings antiques and silverware. The housekeeper will also assist in preparing guest rooms organising clothing for travel packing and unpacking as the family travels extensively and running household errands. Ensuring the home is always wellmaintained tidy and guestready is essential.
Flexibility is key as although the primary schedule is Monday to Friday some weekend evening and bank holiday work will be required when the family is entertaining or hosting guests. The housekeeper will be expected to assist with dinner parties including setting the table and light service. Additional duties include liaising with contractors and service providers monitoring household supplies and coordinating with the other housekeeper to ensure all tasks are efficiently managed.
The ideal candidate will be proactive highly organised and able to work both independently and collaboratively. A UK driving licence and own vehicle are required for workrelated tasks. The housekeeper must also be comfortable around dogs as two nonshedding pets regularly visit and must ensure no pet hair is present on work clothing due to family allergies.

Working Days: Monday Friday (with flexibility for weekends evenings and bank holidays)

Main duties of the PartTime Housekeeper:
- Ensuring the home is well maintained organised and operating smoothly
- Performing highstandard cleaning across all areas of the property
- Washing ironing and caring for delicate fabrics including clothing and linens
- Polishing and maintaining household valuables such as antiques and silverware
- Preparing the home for guests ensuring rooms are clean and presentable
- Organising clothing for travel and ensuring correct items are packed
- Helping with dinner parties and household events
- Running household errands as required
- Coordinating with external service providers such as gardeners and maintenance workers
- Monitoring household repairs and maintaining property security
- Working closely with another housekeeper to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard
Requirements for this PartTime Housekeeper job:
- 3 years of relevant private housekeeping experience
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle required
- Excellent checkable references
- Must not have pet hair on work clothing due to allergies in the household
- Conversational English
- UK working permit
