POSITION OVERVIEW
Fortna seeks a detailoriented and proactive Billing Analyst to join our team in Atlanta. This role is critical in managing and improving billing operations collections and reconciliation processes within a highvolume fastpaced environment. The successful candidate will engage in highvolume collections system reconciliations and process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise advanced Excel skills and experience with Accounts Receivable (A/R). PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Billing and Compliance: Conduct billing operations ensuring compliance with company policies and timely accurate invoicing for all clients.
  • Process Improvement: Monitor and improve A/R workflows focusing on billing accuracy and timely collections.
  • Reconciliation and Audits: Reconcile balances back to the system clean up outstanding balances and perform periodic audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Collections Management: Engage clients for collections upload invoices to systems and follow up on discrepancies and payments to reduce resolution time.
  • Analytical Reporting: Provide leadership with actionable insights through analytical reports and system assessments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers to facilitate communication address billing discrepancies and streamline billing timelines.
  • MonthEnd Close Assistance: Support journal entry preparation billing packages and account analysis during monthend close.
  • AdHoc Analysis: Conduct special financial analyses and support projects as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in billing A/R or collections in mediumsized businesses preferably in a fastpaced environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Intermediate to expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems particularly Infor LN (preferred).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proactive organized and detailoriented with problemsolving capabilities.
  • Travel: Up to 10 domestic travel with the potential for international trips as business needs arise.

The base salary range for this role is $43600 to $65300. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location level jobrelated knowledge skills experience and performance.
