HR Employer Solutions Group is a trusted healthcare staffing agency committed to connecting toptier talent with premier healthcare providers. We are currently seeking an experienced and detailoriented EEG Technician to join our partner facility in Hollywood FL.
Position Summary:
The EEG Technician will be responsible for performing electroencephalograms (EEGs) and related diagnostic tests to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders. This role requires strong technical skills accuracy and a commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized EEG procedures on patients of all ages.
- Properly position patients and ensure comfort and safety during procedures.
- Apply electrodes using the international 10 20 system and monitor recordings.
- Document patient history behaviors and test observations.
- Maintain and calibrate EEG equipment; ensure all testing is conducted in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or technical training in Neurodiagnostic Technology preferred.
- Certification through ABRET (American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists) preferred or in progress.
- Minimum of 2 year of EEG experience preferred.
- Knowledge of EEG equipment safety protocols and patient care best practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
