Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance ABAP programs on the HANA platform.
- Design and implement database models optimized for HANA.
- Analyze and resolve performance issues in existing ABAP applications.
- Collaborate with functional teams to interpret requirements and specifications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions developed.
- Develop custom reports forms and interfaces as needed.
- Implement and enhance web services and API integrations.
- Optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Test and validate solutions to ensure they meet business needs.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for existing applications.
- Train and mentor junior developers on best practices.
- Stay updated on SAP technologies and industry trends.
- Coordinate with project management to ensure timely project delivery.
- Assist with system upgrades and migrations to HANA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in ABAP development.
- Strong knowledge of HANA database architecture and concepts.
- Experience with SAP module integrations (e.g. SD MM FI).
- Proficiency in data modeling and performance tuning for HANA.
- Solid understanding of objectoriented programming in ABAP.
- Ability to write efficient SQL queries for data retrieval.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 development.
- Experience with web services (SOAP/REST).
- Proven problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Certifications in SAP ABAP or HANA technologies are an advantage.
- Experience with SAP development tools (e.g. Eclipse SAP Web IDE).
