Position Summary:
The Student Coach in the Physiology and Health Department will provide individualized nontherapeutic guidance and support to students helping them manage academic personal and emotional challenges. The Student Coach will use active listening empathy and openended questions to help students explore their goals and develop actionable strategies for success. This role supplements traditional academic advising by focusing on the holistic wellbeing of students ensuring they receive wellrounded support.

Job Qualifications:
1. Academic Excellence and Strong Time Management:Applicants must be in the top 10 of their class maintaining a GPA of 3.9 or higher and should demonstrate a strong track record of submitting work on time. This reflects their ability to effectively balance academic responsibilities with life obligations which is essential in guiding and supporting other students.
2. Strong Communication Skills (Active Listening & OpenEnded Questioning): The applicant must have the ability to communicate effectively particularly in listening to and understanding students concerns without jumping to conclusions. They should be adept at asking openended thoughtprovoking questions that encourage students to reflect on their challenges and explore potential solutions.
3. Empathy and Compassion: The role requires a high level of emotional intelligence allowing the applicant to connect with students on a personal level. They should be able to demonstrate empathy make students feel understood and supported and foster a safe nonjudgmental environment.
4.ProblemSolving and Resourcefulness: Applicants must be able to help students navigate complex challenges identify actionable steps and connect them with relevant campus resources. They should be resourceful and knowledgeable about available student support services offering practical guidance that empowers students to take control of their situations.

With a background in program development academic leadership and Ayurvedic wellness education Natasha has dedicated her career to promoting holistic health and wellbeing. She holds an MS in Maharishi AyurVeda & Integrative Medicine and is currently pursuing a PhD in Physiology and Health allowing her to integrate modern health practices with consciousnessbased education. Her experience also includes leadership roles in the military where she developed strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Natasha is passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments and supporting students in their personal and academic development. She continues to lead and design curricula that equip students with practical skills in wellness coaching and holistic health practices.
