The Opportunity
The Housekeeper works to provide a clean and sanitary environment for the residents staff and visitors to the building. The Housekeeper must also interact with residents staff volunteers and members of the public in a courteous and respectful manner.
What youll do
Responsibilities
Participates in the implementation of organizational goals.
Carries out tasks and daily work following the procedures standards and job performance requirements of Melville Heights.
Cooperates with fellow employees and management and promotes a positive atmosphere for residents their families coworkers and visitors.
Carry out cleaning responsibilities following the procedures standards and job performance expectations of Melville Heights.
Use chemicals and department equipment safely following departmental and WHMIS guidelines.
Inform Supervising LPN of any concerns regarding residents.
Complete all documentation and checklists as required. Documentation is to be imputed into Point Click Care.
Report any maintenance concerns.
Other related duties may be assigned as necessary.
Is knowledgeable of fire regulations and the emergency plan and is aware of their responsibilities in an emergency.
Must maintain confidentiality concerning residents employees and organizational data and information.
