Job Description
Synerfac is seeking Warehouse Associates for our client in Hampton VA. Our client is a premier metal fabricator company that supports the defense industry.
We are seeking two reliable detailoriented Temporary Warehouse Associates to assist with operations in an external warehousing environment. Candidates must possess a solid logistics skillset experienced with forklifts and be capable of safely performing physically demanding tasks. This role requires a strong ability to follow detailed instructions work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
* Work with datarich lists to identify match and sort parts appropriately.
* Segregate and palletize parts based on verbal and written instructions.
* Operate a forklift safely in an outdoor paved environment with tight operating spaces.
* Lift up to 50 lbs safely.
* Relocate and organize materials within designated warehouse zones.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
* Collaborate with team members while also being selfdirected when needed.
* 3 years of logistics shipping/receiving or warehouse experience required
* 2 years using forklifts
* Must be comfortable working outdoors on paved surfaces.
* Physically able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
* Dependable transportation required to meet daily attendance expectations.
* Ability to work a full 40hour workweek.
* Must be able to work without access to or use of a cell phone during working hours.
* Must be willing to interview with department managers prior to selection.
