DRIVER GUIDE

Start Date:April 2025
Work Hours: Seasonal Fulltime Parttime roles available
Location: Burnaby BC
Wage:$2223/hr with Class 1 or 2 with Air Brake endorsement.Driver Gratuities average $710/hr $40250/day) Extended Healthbenefits available (if full time and opted in). Daily overtime paid.
** With daily overtime and gratuities earnings potential can be $2730 per hour or more.

Our Driver Tour Guides conduct dailysightseeingtours while driving 2050 seat mini and highway coaches whileproviding entertaining and informative commentary to our guests.
YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE:
- Beingresponsible for conducting safe orderly and fun sightseeing tours driving20 guests on tours to Vancouver North Shore Victoria Squamish Whistler
- Providingclear live tour narration in English while driving
- Efficientlykeeping the tour ontime and schedule while providing a fivestar guestexperience
- Performingdaily pre and posttrip inspections ensuring bus cleanliness
- Beingwarm friendly and welcoming to all guests and team members
- Promotingpartner attractions and online reviews
- Professionallyhandle guest queries and concerns
- Completeall passenger paperwork for entry into ferries and into attractions
- Effectiveand professional communication over radio/phone
- Availableto work a full or part time schedule over the summer touring months
WHAT WE WILL LIKE ABOUT YOU:
- Youpossess a valid BC Class 1 or 2 Drivers License with air brakes minimum 3years driving experience and a clean drivers abstract
- You have excellent communication skills and are comfortable in speaking while driving
- You have a friendly outgoing personality with a guest first focus
- Priortour guiding experience is an asset
- Youhave the flexibility to accommodate a changing schedule available to work anyday of the week and an average shift length of 911 hours per day
- Youhave previous experience working in a customer service or hospitality role
- Youhave the ability to work well both independently with minimum direction and aspart of a team
- Youpossess a professional attitude and appearance
- Youhave strong leadership and organizational skills
- Youpossess problem solving attention to detail and time management skills
- IndepthVancouver Whistler and Victoria knowledge is an asset
- Youhave the ability to lift luggage up to 50lbs
- Youare fluent in English written and oral. Ability to speak a second language isan asset
- Youare legally entitled to work in Canada
