ASSOCIATE MECHANICAL ENGINEER IN CORVALLIS OREGON

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field. Masters a plus.
  • 03 years of professional handson experience in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Up to 20 of travel may be required between locations.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. drivers license.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Background checks are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Good understanding of basic mechanics and machine design.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience with and a desire to gain expertise in automation or product development processes from concept to production.
  • Experience with and a desire to gain expertise in designing injection molded MIM and sheet metal parts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design complex automated systems as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Create and manage technical documentation (e.g. BOMs I/O lists P&IDs).
  • Develop Automation mechanical design solutions using advanced engineering principles and CAD tools.
  • Support project lifecycle from conceptual design through production implementation.

The salary range for this position is based on national rates. Exact compensation may vary based on skills experience and location. Base Salary: $72000.00 $105000.00. Andrews Cooper is an equalopportunity employer.
