Job Description

Job Summary
The Athletics Live Broadcast Assistant position reports to Assistant Athletic Director for Broadcast Operations. The majority of work will be performed throughout the various athletics facilities at UP with occasional work in other areas on campus. The position is year round majority of hours on weeknights various times on the weekends with opportunity for daytime weekday hours. Primary role for the position is to assist University of Portland Athletics InHouse Video Department and NW Emmy Nominated Portland Sports Network with daytoday operations of covering live games for web streams and TV with opportunities to work on creative video content for our all social media channels as well. Employees will be evaluated on a semester by semester basis. Schedules are determined based on class schedules and availability.

Minimum Qualifications
Have a strong work ethic Be willing to learn various skills and put the time into mastering them. Available to work nights and weekends. Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with HD cameras on manual settings. Familiarity with audio mixing lighting and shot composition.
