POSITION SUMMARY

High Voltage Maintenance (HVM) a rapidly growing thirdparty NETA accredited electrical testing company is currently seeking Field Technicians to support our service offerings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshooting capabilities relay calibration use of load recording instrumentation low and medium voltage switchgear testing through 15 kV class
• Perform tasks such as testing of circuit breakers switchgear and motor control centers
• Electrical testing and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems
• Busduct Installation Inspection & Testing
• Instrument transformer tests & Power transformer testing Doble TTR Insulation Resistance etc.
• Test both electromechanical and solidstate relays
• Cable testing Tan Delta Power Factor VLF DC Hipot
• Automatic transfer switch troubleshooting

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates with NETA Level 2 certification or above required.
• Must be able to pass a preemployment periodic and random drug screenings
• Willing to work flexible hours weekends holidays and night work.
• Must be available for outoftown travel at a minimum of 1525 weeks per year
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move 100pound test sets
• Possess a valid drivers license and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Engineering Electrical or Mechanical
• Graduate of Electrical Technical School
• Military equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Medium Lifting 30 Ibs. 45 Ibs.
• Heavy Lifting (over 50 Ibs.
• Frequent Standing
• Frequent kneeling / crawling / stooping
• Frequent bending / twisting
• Frequent climbing (stairs ladders)
• Frequent driving (car van truck)

ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

• Noise Level (Medium / High need to shout to be heard)
• Working around moving machinery (forklifts tractors)
• Protective Equipment Required (earplugs gloves eyewear respirator mask etc.
• Work outdoors (no effective protection from weather)
