Overview
We are hiring at UofL Health South Hospital
Location: 1903 W. Hebron Ln.
Shepherdsville KY 40165
Shift: PRN
About Us:
UofL Health is investing in the health of Bullitt County and the surrounding area with an expansion of UofL Health Medical Center South to become an inpatient hospital UofL Health South Hospital. South Hospital is expected to open in early 2024 and will add approximately 100000 square feet of new space to the existing facility. South Hospital will include a 10bed intensive care unit medical/surgical patient rooms six operating rooms new cardiac catheterization lab expanded emergency department centralized sterile processing area laboratory pharmacy cardiopulmonary respiratory therapy and more.

Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies procedures and protocols of the health care organization.
The area of focus:
- Emergency Department
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- RN License or eligible for license in Kentucky
- Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or will obtain during orientation if your current job did not require it.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or will obtain during orientation
- Minimum of one 1 year of nursing experience in specialty area
