Job Title: Data Scientist
Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)
Type: Contract
Rate: Open to discussion
Qualifications:
- Bachelors with 7 years Masters with 5 years or Ph.D. with 3 years of relevant experience in Computer Science Statistics or Mathematics.
- Proven ability to analyze complex problems and translate them into effective data science solutions.
Technical Expertise:
- Machine Learning & AI: Supervised/unsupervised learning NLP classification data/text mining deep learning (CNNs RNNs) and neural networks.
- Statistical Modeling: Predictive & prescriptive analytics regression time series topic modeling parametric & nonparametric models.
- Generative AI: Embedding generation vector databases RAG pipelines LLM provisioning (including prompt engineering tuning and governance).
- Big Data Analytics: Trend and outlier detection in large datasets.
- Cloud & Tools: Python PySpark GCP (Vertex AI Kubeflow) Hadoop (Hive MapReduce HQL Scala) Spark.
- Deployment & Monitoring: Experience deploying models at scale with continuous feedback loops.
Leadership:
- Experience mentoring junior analysts and leading data science projects endtoend.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Retail domain experience.
- Publications in academic journals or presentations in data science forums.
- Patents related to data science or AI.
- Experience with TensorFlow PyTorch and GPU/CUDA optimization.
