We are currently seeking anElectric Motor Rewind TechnicianinSaint John NB
The Key Responsibilities will include:
- On the job training will be provided including formal training sessions
- Troubleshooting and repairing large AC & DC electric rotating equipment with random or form wound stators rotors or armatures
- Test repair motors to ensure proper repair and performance
- Troubleshoot and find root cause on failed equipment
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- No motor rewind experience required
- Mechanical or electrical background with knowledge of AC and DC electric motors
- Must be able to understand and use test equipment and instruments required to perform preliminary intermediate and final tests.
- Knowledge of other electromechanical rotating equipment including pumps would be considered an asset
- Perform tasks in an industrial environment
- Work Monday to Friday with potential for overtime
