Job Description
Job Summary:
Colonial Chevrolet of Acton is seeking a skilled and experienced Lube Technician to join our team. As a Lube Technician you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and oil changes on vehicles as well as assisting with other automotive services. This is a parttime position with competitive hourly compensation in the Auto industry.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $18 to $25 per hour and is paid weekly.
Responsibilities:
Perform basic automotive services such as oil changes tire rotations and filter replacements according to manufacturer guidelines
Inspect and diagnose customer vehicles identifying any potential issues or recommended repairs
Maintain a clean and organized work area as well as properly maintaining tools and equipment
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to provide updates on services and any recommended repairs
Ensure all services are completed accurately and efficiently meeting dealership and manufacturer standards
Continuously update knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance techniques through training programs and workshops
Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines in the shop and on the lot
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Lube Technician or in a similar role in the automotive industry
Knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Basic computer skills
Must have a valid drivers license and pass a background and drug screening
Must have the physical and dexterity ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
