Position Overview

If youre a quality focused seasoned professional with a passion for senior living and a keen eye for detail we have the perfect opportunity for you. Join us as the Director of Quality Management and work closely with our home office team to provide the regulatory excellence we are known for!

Reporting to the Chief Quality and Compliance Officer you would provide guidance on clinical regulatory policy and auditing for postacute care in our CCRCs PACE Programs Home Health and Hospice services. This role ensures that all development requests from government or contracted oversight agencies are submitted timely accurately and in compliance with federal and state regulations. The Director also provides education and conducts quality and compliance audits at EveryAge affiliate locations according to the compliance work plan.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance by examining records reports and documentation; recommend improvements to internal controls.

Monitor quality measures benchmarks and key performance indicators to identify opportunities and assist locations in developing improvement strategies.

Maintain policies and procedures in line with regulatory changes as directed by the Chief Quality and Compliance Officer.

Address compliance policy and regulatory questions; assist with problemsolving.

Support facilities during surveys and audits by accreditation organizations Medicare Medicaid and thirdparty payors.

Stay informed of regulatory changes affecting service delivery and reimbursement; maintain knowledge of relevant rules and regulations.

Communicate with government agencies on behalf of the organization.

Develop and provide employee training on quality and compliance policies.

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor degree in healthrelated eld. RN JD or Masters preferred.

Understanding of health care delivery risk management and patient safety principles obtained from 5 years of health care risk management/patient safety.

Five years of progressive nursing experience including at least five years of nurse management experience in a long term care facility home health and/or hospice.

Strong understanding of federal and state longterm care regulations and survey process as well as the ADR process reimbursement systems and processes is required.

Strong analytical thinking skills and be ability to maintain meticulous records of complaints and compliance activities

Good organization communication and human relation skills required.

Good computer skills required. Experience working with an electronic health record strongly preferred.

Selfmotivation assertiveness and independent decisionmaking skills required.

Attention to detail.

Ability to handle multiple priority projects.
