Job Description
Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes in search of a Professor FirstYear Experience to join our team of exceptional faculty. As an FSW faculty member you have the opportunity to directly impact the college mission to inspire our students to Dedicate to Graduate.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Doctoral or masters degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in the teaching discipline or a masters degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline).
- Demonstrated ability to use technology in creating and delivering course content
- Demonstrated indepth knowledge of the subject area to be taught and currency in the discipline (eg. experience in one or more of the following areas: firstyear student success learning styles and strategies instructional methodologies critical thinking social interaction and diversity goalsetting and time management financial management and career planning)
- Successful experience teaching firsttime and firstgeneration college students including adult learners.

Salary Range: $51976.01 $61643.90 (for two terms): the maximum salary is based on a doctorate education level and 10 years of verifiable fulltime teaching experience. Salary will be determined at the hire date.
