The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the Somerton rPlastics facility. Reporting to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager you will lead maintenance activities to ensure plant reliability safety and efficiency while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion a safetyfirst culture ensuring compliance with OHS GMP and risk management standards.
- Supervise and support the maintenance trades team ensuring efficient of daily operations and major repairs.
- Assist in managing critical spare parts ensuring availability for key maintenance activities.
- Identify skill gaps and support team training and development to maintain high performance.
What You Will Bring to the Team
- Trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering desirable.
- Experience in maintenance leadership within manufacturing FMCG or industrial environments.
- Strong problemsolving and continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
