A Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping all plant equipment operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around the facility. Some of the other duties and responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician include:
- Essential job duties include day to day equipment maintenanceincluding troubleshooting of mechanical & electrical systems and timely repair of those systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis toidentify and solve problems associated with equipment downtime.
- Candidates will work with minimal supervision need to be selfmotivated dependable punctual organized and be in attendance for work duties. Employees must have good communication skills and be able to work well with others.
- Demonstrate strong ethical and judgment skills
- Demonstrate ability to read electrical schematics ability to use a digital multimeter.
- Regular Inspection of all electrical mechanical & other equipment in the facility
- Coordinating with production and other departments for feedback on the functionality of the equipment.
- Reporting all defects and damages to the maintenance team lead
- Comply with all safety standards for industry and the facility
- Maintaining all records of the repair and maintenance works conducted using WO system (PMware).
- Welding & Machining Skills a plus
