About Us:

You will join a highly supportive tertiary trauma counselling team providing both crisis and ongoing counselling interventions alongside community education and other prevention focused activities. The service adopts a strengthbased family focussed and culturally centred traumainformed approach to working with children and families.
The Aboriginal Sexual Counsellor will support engagement with Aboriginal communities stakeholders and clients; also providing cultural consultation to support nonAboriginal clinicians working with First Nations children and families where appropriate. Professional development will be provided alongside generous clinical supervision cultural supervision and peer supervision arrangements. The team will suit clinicians who enjoy diverse fast paced clientcentred work with a strong dedication to reducing violence in the lives of individuals and communities whilst contributing to the decolonisation of NSW Health services.
