KBR is seeking an experienced RQ4 Pilot to join our team in Grand Forks North Dakota to support Department of Defense flight test events. As part of one of the worlds largest independent flight test organizations supporting both US Government agencies and industry youll join an exceptionally talented and experienced team that has provided over 40 continuous years of operational support to many customers contributing transformative capabilities for our national defense

Roles and Responsibilities:
The RQ4 Pilot is responsible for the safe operation of the RQ4 and its associated systems through all phases of ground and flight operations including normal abnormal and emergency situations with strict adherence to DCMA regulations and company policy. Responsibilities include:
Conduct preflight planning and perform postflight ground debrief with maintenance test personnel and other aircrew members.
Coordinate with mission management maintenance and sensor operator personnel to ensure successful mission .
Responsible for the operation of assigned aircraft in flight and for ensuring the safe operation of the aircraft and systems.
Pilot the aircraft safely from point of origin to destination and maneuver the aircraft to support operational tests and collection of associated ancillary data.
Use existing procedures to solve problems in complicated situations; analyzes viable solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents.
Document mission data in flight logs.
Locate understand interpret and adhere to applicable DOD FAA DCMA and other organizational regulations and guidance.
Maintain flight currency in accordance with current regulations.
May direct aircraft operations planning scheduling and debriefing in support of collateral tasks within the organizations flight program.
May instruct or evaluate more junior employees and/or customers in the interpretation of industry technical standards.
May include mentoring or advisory responsibilities; provides informal task guidance to new/less experienced team members.
Up to 15 travel .
Up to 10 night shift
Basic Qualifications:
Hold a current or able to obtain an FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) FAA and/or applicable DCMAINST 8210 series rules and regulations governing aircraft operations is .
Candidate must possess at least 500 hours pilot in command (PIC) time in the E/M/RQ4.
Must be willing to work occasional nights and weekends.
Must be willing to travel for periods of one to two weeks at a time.
Current or previous certifications / designations should not be older than 12 months at the start date of work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Possess at least 1000 hours total flight time in the E/M/RQ4 including 500 hours as PIC.
Possess at least 50 hours total flight time in the E/M/RQ4 within the last 12 months.
Past or current Instructor pilot experience in the E/M/RQ4 with at least 100 hours of Instructor time.
Bachelors degree with relevant experience.
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Commercial Pilot Certificate with an Instrument rating.(or military equivalent)
FAA Part 107 Commercial UAV certification.
Flight Test experience.
Greatly Preferred Qualifications:
Possess at least 1500 hours total flight time in the E/M/RQ4 including 500 hours PIC.
Possess at least 100 hours total flight time in the E/M/RQ4 within the last 12 months.
Past or current Instructor/Evaluator pilot experience in the E/M/RQ4 with at least 250 hours of Instructor/Evaluator time.
Masters degree with relevant experience.
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Certified Flight Instructor Certificate.(or military equivalent)
Operations Group experience as Director of Operations.
