With nearly 1000 years of combined attorney experience they are seeking a seniorlevel attorney with a background in trust and estate planning and administration to join the team.

DEPARTMENT INSIGHT:

The Estate Planning practice provides an active and vigorous environment supporting trusts and estates matters related to estate planning probate will and trust preparation power of attorney insurance retirement benefits and much more. While leading individuals and families to build and secure the state they also help create financial security.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a senior level Associate in the Estate Planning group you will be representing businesses public entities families individuals and trusts and estates. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside other trusted legal advisors and to provide clients with assistance achieving their goals.

DUTIES:

• Draft and implement complex estate planning documents including revocable and irrevocable trusts wills powers of attorney and health care directives
• Design and execute wealth transfer strategies including charitable trusts and family limited partnerships
  
• Advise fiduciaries and beneficiaries in the administration of trusts and estates including asset distribution tax filings and fiduciary duties
  
• Collaborate with Partners on client strategy while handling matters independently from start to finish
  
• Manage client relationships and collaborate with external counsel delivering practical businessdriven legal solutions

REQUIREMENTS:

• 8 years of experience in estate planning trust administration estate and gift tax planning and related private client services
• Ability to meet a billable requirement of 1800 hours annually
• Confidently receive assignments from Partners and manage a substantial caseload with efficiency and precision
• Demonstrated communication skills both written and verbal with an ability to effectively interact with clients and counsel
• Active California Bar admission
• Detailoriented and demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically
• Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented fastpaced environment

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Compensation: $180000 $200000
• Plus discretionary bonuses and additional compensation for exceeding billable hours.
