Saguaro Solar Electric a leading provider of solar energy solutions in Arizona and we have expanded into GA. We are seeking an experienced highly skilled and licensed electrician to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in installing and maintaining our stateoftheart solar energy systems. Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Licensed Electrician who is selfdriven motivated and interested in a career in the solar and electric vehicle charging industry. This role will focus on the installation maintenance and optimization of solar electric systems and EV chargers for a wide range of manufacturers including Rivian Lucid GM Ford Lightning and Tesla Cyber Trucks to name a few. Training and certification across our product lines will be provided giving you the tools and knowledge needed to excel.
Responsibilities
- Install maintain and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems including panels inverters wiring and other electrical components for commercial and residential settings.
- Ensure all electrical work performed is up to code and complies with state and local regulations.
- Work collaboratively with project managers and installation teams to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct system inspections and troubleshooting providing recommendations for system improvements or repairs.
- Train and mentor junior electricians and apprentices promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
- Keep detailed records of all installations services and repair work
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia Electrician License or Equivalent or
- Ability to take and pass Georgia State electrical contractor license.
- Proven experience in the electrical field with a strong preference for candidates with solar PV installation and maintenance experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing as part of the preemployment process.
- A valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
