Job Description
Goldfish Swim School is seeking applications for a Swim Instructor / Lifeguard in Braintree MA.
- Maintains attentive position in the pool areas at all times.
- Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents or casualties makes rescues and administers first aid/CPR when necessary.
- Performs swim instruction based upon Goldfish Swim School Curriculum.
- Inspects pool areas before and after each 30minute lesson looking for possible maintenance cleanliness or damage issues and reports problems to management as appropriate.
- Fulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.
Preferred qualifications:
- 16 years or older
- Lifeguard certification must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
- Experience working as a certified lifeguard youth sports instructor camp counselor and/or childcare provider.
Work environment: Swim instructors spend the majority of their working time in the pool with students. While performing this job the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate.

Each Goldfish Swim School is an independently owned and operated franchise. The respective Franchisee is the employer at each Goldfish Swim School location. Each franchisee can set their own wages benefit programs and terms and conditions of employment which may vary at each Goldfish Swim School location.
