Designation Executive Costing
Education & Experience : 45 years of experience with B.E or DiplomaMechanical/Metallurgy /Automobile/Production
Roles &Responsibilities:
Costing & Quotation Preparation:
- Analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) and other cost components to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with design production and procurement teams to determine cost feasibility and pricing.
- Prepare detailed quotations based on technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Ensure that quotations align with market trends profitability goals and company policies.
- Maintain a database of previous quotations and cost variations for future reference.
CustomerRelationship Management (CRM):
- Handle customer inquiries regarding pricing technical feasibility and quotation status.
- Maintain and update customer data in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with sales and technical teams to provide customers with optimal solutions.
- Ensure timely followups on submitted quotations and provide necessary revisions if required.
- Analyze customer feedback and suggest improvements to enhance service efficiency.
Coordination& Process Improvement:
- Work closely with engineering production & CFT teams to optimize costing and quotation processes.
- Identify costsaving opportunities and suggest competitive pricing strategies.
- Generate periodic reports on quotation success rates cost trends and pricing competitiveness.
Desired Skills:
- Technical understanding of engineering products & manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills for costing and pricing analysis.
- Proficiency in ERP systems CRM Tools etc. will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot tables VLOOKUP Macros).
- Excellent communication problemsolving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment.
- Detailoriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
