Job Description:
At Saint Paul Catholic School teachers aides parents and students work together to grow cultivate and nurture a love of learning and spiritual growth. We are looking for a faithfilled teacher who has a genuine love for children and passion for teaching. The teacher in this position will be responsible for providing art instruction to students in PK8th grades in alignment with Indiana standards.

Job Requirements:
Provides a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process.
Implements instructional activities that contribute to a climate where students are engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
Identifies selects and modifies instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds learning styles and special needs.
Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with students parents and colleagues.
Provides learning experiences in the visual arts and supervision of students in a supportive and positive climate that develops in each student the skills attitudes and knowledge to meet and exceed the State Core Curriculum Content Standards using approved curricula materials and directives of the school.
Job Qualifications:
Degree in education with a fine arts concentration (or will obtain by June 2025
Indiana Teaching License (or will obtain by July 2025
Technology Integration
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as administration may find appropriate and acceptable.
The ideal teacher has both a strong knowledge of art content as well as current best practices to meet diverse students needs. They will be able to design and facilitate engaging lessons utilizing formative assessment and guide instructions and provide ongoing student support and create a positive classroom environment with a Christ at the center.
Applicants must not have been evaluated as ineffective on an action plan or recommended for probation assistance on their most recent evaluation.
