We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Traffic Engineer to join our team in Burnsville MN. Youll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on state local government and private projects primarily in the transportation sector.
As a Senior Traffic Engineer you will play a crucial role in delivering transportation projects that are safe efficient and costeffective. Youll provide leadership within our traffic engineering section working alongside a team of dynamic engineering professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct traffic analysis and modeling
- Lead traffic design efforts
- Manage projects from inception to completion
- Foster communication and collaboration among stakeholders
- Engage in public outreach initiatives
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws regulations and standards
Preferred Skills Experience and Qualifications:
- Strong technical expertise communication and leadership abilities
- Excellent problemsolving skills
- Willingness to collaborate in a team environment
- Ambition to grow within the organization
- Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
- Proficiency in traffic analysis and design software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook etc.
- 5 years of progressive experience in traffic engineering
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related field with Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Minnesota
- Certification as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE)
