krisenchat is embarking on a project to diversify its income and build its unrestricted funding streams.
Your role will be to work together with the Senior Fundraiser in developing krisenchats donor infrastructure and retention systems alongside supporting the development of fundraising campaigns and increasing income from corporate high value mass market and individual supporters.
More specifically your working days will be as follows:
For building up the donor infrastructure you will:
Work with a multidisciplinary team to lead the customisation and integration of a CRM system to improve donor communications and retention
Automate stages of the donor journey through a CRM system
Analyse donor data trends and implement strategies to increase donor engagement
You will cocreate fundraising campaigns:
Support the Senior Fundraiser in creating and running fundraising and marketing campaigns to stimulate new donations and increase krisenchats donor database and income
You will enhance donor relationships:
Support the fundraising team in building relationships and increasing income through high value individual corporate and mass market support
Lead mass market donor communications
Your profile
Musthaves:
- Experience in an NGO or startup environment
- Proficiency in written and spoken English as well as very good German skills
- Several years of relevant experience in fundraising or communications (ideally 5 years)
- Skills and experience in donor solicitation donor engagement individual donor cultivation corporate fundraising CRM (customer relationship management) systems CRM integration project management and fundraising campaign management
- Residence in Germany preferably in Berlin
Nicetohave:
- Degree in a related field (e.g. Marketing NGO Management Communications Psychology)
- Experience with major donor cultivation
- Knowledge of grants management

krisenchat is a nationwide free support service for children and young adults in need. We offer children and young people professional psychosocial counselling every day 24 hours a day via WhatsApp or text message. krisenchat has been available 24/7 since the beginning of May 2020 since then the many crisis counselors have been able to help in over 120.000 crisis situations. Since 1 March 2022 krisenchat Ukrainian has also been providing confidential crisis counseling in Ukrainian and Russian for people affected by war at any age with over 23.000 consultations provided. In addition to crisis counseling krisenchat reaches many millions of young people every year through psychoeducation via social media platforms.
