Job Description

Banquet Set Up Attendants are crucial to cleaning banquet rooms/hallways setting up tables and placing linen for all banquet/catered events in the lodge. Set Up may be inside or outside in the tent or on patios during the summer months. Assists with bar back duties during bar events. May assist with serving duties as needed. This is a very physical position.

Starting pay is $10.70/hour

Hours of work may begin as early as 5am for breakfast and end as late as 1am for weddings.

Responsibilities:

  • Check Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) at the beginning of each shift
  • Ensure all needed supplies and equipment are in the room at least 15 minutes prior to the event start time
  • Setup event tables & chairsand tear down according to BEO specifications and/or Company established standards
  • Vacuum event rooms prior to events or as requested by the BEO
  • Wash windows in event windows prior to events
  • Coordinate the A/V setup per the BEO checking that A/V is working and readytouse prior to the event start
  • Assist banquet event guests with any special needs/requests throughout their function

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of audio visual equipment and set up
  • Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor locations and conditions
  • Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time
  • Valid drivers license preferred
  • Must be able to frequently squat reach above shoulder level crouch balance and push/pull. Must be able to occasionally bend/stoop twist climb and kneel
  • Must be able to repeatedly lift/carry up to 25 lbs. frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Available day and night shifts during summer; weekends & holidays required.
