WHAT YOULL BE DOING
The Class A Boom Truck Driver is a key position at our Lockeford CA plant. Every day youre out in the field safely delivering precast products.
Reporting to dispatch youll primarily work with customers delivery drivers and the sales team.
Starting Salary range based on experience $28.00 to $35.00 with a CCO certification.
A highlight of your day to day will include:
Operating a Telescopic swing cab boom/crane to set product or offload at customer job sites through Northern California.
Transport precast materials secure loads and ensure that your truck does not exceed the maximum weight limits for transport.
Understand and are fully aware of all DOT guidelines and adhere to such regulations; maintain logs of working hours of vehicle service and repair status following applicable state and federal regulations; check all loadrelated documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
Ensure proper customer service by reviewing and comparing invoice to what product is loaded; collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources verify instructions and requested routes/drop off location; read and interpret maps to determine vehicle routes; drive truck to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Youre a licensed Class A CDL driver with an CCO certification TLL designation. You like to be home daily and paid hourly. Placing large/awkward/heavy products in place at jobsites doesnt scare you. You dont take shortcuts. Youre safety conscious not just for yourself but for your team.
