This position is responsible for scanning in hard copy information into the electronic record. They will retrieve hard copy information from various settings to assure scanning takes place. They are responsible for taking incoming departmental phone calls. They will reconcile and track patient documentation against registration lists for select areas.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Licenses and Certifications Required
Educational Requirements
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience Requirements
Prior medical office or HIM experience preferred.
Prior computer skills with Outlook and Excel.
Special Skills or Training Requirements
Medical Terminology and /or Anatomy and Physiology are preferred.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively use active listening asks questions as appropriated and functions as part of a team.
