Job Description
Doctorate in Audiology required. At least 5 years of clinical supervision experience. American Speech and Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence CCC A). Active New York State Licensure in Audiology. Current New York State Hearing Aid Dispensing License and prior dispensing experience. Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills. Commitment to mentoring students and fostering a positive learning environment. Ability to maintain high standards of patient care and professionalism in the clinical setting. Experience with MS Word Excel and NOAH hearing aid fitting software system. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory abilities excellent diagnostic audiology experience a commitment to fostering student development and a passion for highquality patient care in an educational setting. Candidate must have excellent skills for record keeping of clinical charts/paperwork/case management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in assessing Auditory Processing Disorders and/or electrophysiological assessment preferred. Experience with Pediatric assessment. Experience with Electrophysiology assessment including auditory brainstem response and electrocochleography. Some experience with vestibular assessment. Ability to participate in community outreach as needed. Experience with Verifit/real ear verification systems and Electronic medical records systems.
