Job Description
- Lead groups of up to 16 students through curriculumguided activities.
- Follow all Snapology lesson plans & activities. Each class/camp is fully prepared for each instructor no lesson plan creation is needed! All materials lesson plans & paid training are provided.
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
- Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
- Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use the information to adjust teaching strategies
- Adequately prepare for each program by reading the curriculum watching training videos and participating in facetoface training sessions
- Handle inquiries from parents regarding Snapology programs
- Encourage students & parents to enroll students in future Snapology programs
- Criminal and Child Clearances must be current or you have the ability to pass a thorough background check to obtain clearances.
- 2 or more years of experience working with children in a classroom or camp environment
- Experience working with children with special needs (all ages)
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis
- Weekday / Weekend late morning afterschool and/or evening classes
- Weekend workshops and/or birthday parties
- Summer camps
- Special events holiday and break workshops
