Summary
Excel Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate 1st & 2nd Grade Teacher who is committed to creating an engaging and nurturing learning environment. The ideal candidate will integrate faithbased principles with academic instruction helping students develop both spiritually and intellectually. This role involves implementing the schools curriculum managing a classroom assessing student progress and fostering a love for learning.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a structured positive and Christcentered learning environment.
- Encourage positive behavior honor and responsibility among students.
- Support students social emotional and spiritual development through mentorship and guidance.
- Work closely with fellow teachers administrators and staff to support schoolwide goals and initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress behavior and classroom activities.
- Participate in faculty meetings professional development and school events.
- Develop and deliver engaging developmentally appropriate lessons in core subjects including reading writing math science and social studies.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid Florida teaching certification.
- Experience teaching early elementary grades preferred.
- Strong faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to integrating Christian values into education.
- Excellent classroom management communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with young children and fostering a love for learning.
