The Innovative Healthcare Collaborative of Indiana (IHCI) is a joint venture between Community Health Network and Deaconess Health system. Its goal is to support our sponsors and partners in their strategic evolution to positively impact and improve the healthcare delivery system.

Make a Difference

The Quality and Contract Analyst in conjunction with the Executive Director of Contract Management and Payer Relations has responsibility for the development implementation and oversight of the quality performance functions of IHCI. The individual in this role will bring population health valuebased care quality management and quality improvement initiative experience that demonstrates leadership and proven quality outcomes. The Quality and Contract Analyst will have experience in valuebased care population health and a strong background in quality improvement methodologies and initiatives. The Quality and Contract Analyst is responsible for facilitating IHCIs quality efforts in collaboration with IHCI leadership to deliver high patient & provider satisfaction high quality outcomes and drive strong results against valuebased care quality measures. The person in this role must partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders excel working in an ambiguous environment and have proven experience driving organizational change collaboratively as we build infrastructure to support valuebased payment models. The ideal candidate must possess a high degree of integrity and bring both the energy and initiative necessary build out and scale operations associated with sustainable performance in valuebased care. This individual will drive success for both existing and new lines of business and represent the organization to committees and payers as assigned.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting have excellent communication and organizational skills and a positive attitude toward problemsolving.

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent .
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality CPHQ Certification preferred.
  • In lieu of the above education requirements a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Three 3 years of experience in a health care or managed care environment and project management experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Hospital Value Based Purchasing initiatives a plus.
  • Experience in a health care or managed care environment and project management experience preferred.
  • Experience analyzing quality data and driving improvement based on those results.
  • Experience with ACO Quality Reporting and developing workflows to ensure accurate receipt of quality performance measures by payer partners.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physician practices on activities to improve population health management.
  • Knowledge of CMS requirements and regulations and NCQA standards and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical verbal written organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) principles with experience in project management Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Population health experience with an understanding of performance measurement and improvement processes CMS requirements and regulations and NCQA standards and regulations (e.g. NCQA/HEDIS measures ACO NGACO/MSSP measures etc. preferred.
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data management reporting particularly Excel.
  • Community caregivers performing work remotely are permitted to live in the following states: Indiana Illinois Ohio Michigan Kentucky Florida and Texas. Caregivers are not allowed to perform work remotely outside of the above states. Applicants from other states may apply; however if hired they will be required to relocate to one of the above states within 60 days of their employment date.
