What Youll Bring:
- 5 years of experience with SQL R Python Spark Matlab
- Proven experience in marketing mix models (MMM) multitouch attribution (MTA) models experimentation multivariate regression timeseries modeling Bayesian statistics segmentation modeling machine learning data mining simulation optimization and/or forecasting
- Technical or programming skills to handle big data online search online advertising attribution and online/offline marketing optimization problems
- Bachelors degree (required) or above (preferred) with mathematical or engineering background: Statistics Data Mining Operations Research Econometrics Finance Engineering or similar
- 3 years of experience mentoring junior data scientists and offshore associates
What we would love to see:
- Quantitative analytics experience with marketing metrics and tracking marketing analytics and attribution modeling
- Experience in Digital Analytics with handson experience in Adserver/Web Analytics Logs
- Experience in digital AdTech industry with thorough understanding of digital metrics
Impact Youll Make:
Transunion Marketing Solutions is looking for talented analysts with excellent quantitative and analytical skills. Our ideal candidates are determined to combine the art and science of data analytics and marketing to help clients address the complex challenges of marketing effectiveness ROI brand equity impact channel effectiveness and pricing. In this role youll work with crossfunctional teams as a lead data scientist on multimillion dollar customer engagements. Youll build your network with the top marketing leadership in major companies across virtually all industries. Youll work with quantitative marketing data to analyze and reveal the business drivers of the Fortune 500. You will develop expertise at the intersection of big data marketing and consulting. Our work is not just about delivering a project and moving on to the next challenge. Instead its about delivering an evolving stream of value and enabling factbased decision making.
- Lead our unified analytics client projects by delivering multitouch attribution models (MTA) marketingmix models (MMM) and/or machine learning techniques such as logistic regression choice model timeseries model panel data model Bayesian statistics ridge regression structural equations probability theory clustering algorithms to address marketing effectiveness return on investment (ROI) brand equity impact segmentation pricing and environmental factors
- Collaborate with external client teams to ensure alignment on modeling methodologies model validation metrics actionable insights and analytical/technical best practices and help to enhance our analytic solutions for client needs
- Interact with multiple functional teams across the firm to provide and improve our endtoend solution and implement new analytics capabilities: Data Operations Solution Architects Consulting Services Product and Engineering
- Develop next gen marketing analytics for unified consumercentric solutions that incorporate new data assets such as individuals identity data crossdevices addressable TV segmentation targeting and test results
- Mentor junior data scientists while coordinating with data science leadership to align against broader business objectives and team development
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as inperson at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $90000.00 $150000 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individuals education training work experience jobrelated skill set location and industry knowledge as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.
Regular fulltime nonsales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnions annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for longterm incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
