Job Description
Software Requirements:
- Strong programming skills in C/C including socket programming (TCP/IP UDP) templates and multithreaded programming
- Proficiency with Linuxbased development
- Experience with lowlatency highthroughput environments
Overall Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and optimize highperformance C applications
- Work on socket programming focusing on TCP/IP and UDP protocols
- Implement and maintain multithreaded applications
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement new features
- Optimize applications for lowlatency and highthroughput environments
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues
- Stay current with the latest developments in C and related technologies
Technical Skills:
Mandatory:
C/C Programming:
- Strong programming skills in C/C
- Expertise in socket programming (TCP/IP UDP)
- Experience with templates and multithreaded programming
Linux Development:
- Proficiency with Linuxbased development
- System tuning for performance
LowLatency HighThroughput Environments:
- Experience in developing and optimizing applications for lowlatency and highthroughput
Desired:
Market Data Protocols:
- Familiarity with protocols such as FIX ITCH and OPRA
Network Programming:
- Expertise in TCP/UDP multicast shared memory RDMA etc.
Performance Optimization:
- Experience with performance profiling debugging and optimizing latencysensitive applications
Distributed Systems and Messaging Frameworks:
- Handson experience with RabbitMQ Kafka etc.
Database Technologies:
- Knowledge of KDB/q NoSQL or inmemory stores is a plus
Financial Markets:
- Previous experience and understanding of Equities Futures and Options
DaytoDay Activities:
- Develop and maintain highperformance C applications
- Work on socket programming and multithreaded applications
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement new features
- Optimize applications for performance focusing on lowlatency and highthroughput
- Debug and resolve complex issues in a timely manner
- Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in C and related technologies
Experience:
- 6 years of experience in C software development
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
