Oklahoma Christian University invites applications for adjunct faculty positions in several disciplines and assignments to courses for delivery through various modalities including oncampus and online. Required qualifications vary from department to department but a disciplinerelated masters degree or a combination of education and relevant professional experience are generally required. Candidates with terminal degrees and other specialized training are also highly desired. Adjunct appointments are parttime (typically one or two courses) and madeon a semesterbysemester basis but often result in recurring assignmentswithin a regular course rotation. Adjunct openings frequently occur with shortnotice so the Oklahoma Christian Human Resources office accepts adjunctapplications at all times. This is an oncampus inperson position. The Division of Natural & Health Science is seeking adjuncts to teach coursesin Chemistry at Oklahoma Christian University. Primary Qualifications: - Ph.D. in a chemistryrelated field preferred. However a masters degree will be considered.
- Demonstrated ability and experience to teach undergraduatecourses in a variety of areas.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and the ability tocommunicate and positively engage students and colleagues across racial gender and cultural barriers.
- Teach introductory and upperlevel undergraduate coursesincluding laboratory sections.
- Manage maintain and upgrade laboratory experiments andequipment.
- Design implement assess and continually improve the programs.
