Job Description
smartdept. is searching for a Squarespace Web Developer for a remote creative client. The ideal candidate will come with proven experience working with Squarespace websites including custom coding. This is a projectbased fully remote shortduration contract opportunity with the possibility of an extension.
The Squarespace Web Developer will focus on enhancing and optimizing a single page on a Squarespace website while overcoming platform limitations through custom solutions. This role requires collaboration with the client to ensure the project meets quality standards and delivers an exceptional user experience.
What Youll Do:
- Collaborate with the client to understand project goals and requirements.
- Enhance and optimize a single page on a Squarespace website to improve user experience and interface design.
- Use custom frontend coding (HTML CSS JavaScript) to overcome Squarespace platform limitations.
- Ensure the project is completed within the agreed timeline and meets quality standards.
- Provide recommendations for additional improvements or best practices as needed.
What Youll Need:
- Proven experience working with Squarespace websites including custom coding.
- Strong knowledge of frontend development technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript).
- A portfolio demonstrating successful Squarespace projects especially those requiring custom solutions.
