Job Description
Sheladia Associates is seeking a professional Team Leader to join our team for upcoming Irrigation Design project in Caucasus Region funded by EU.
Qualifications :
- At least a Masters Degree or equivalent in Agricultural or Civil Engineering or in the field of irrigation and/or drainage.
- At least 15 years of professional experience in the field of irrigation development for both perennial (including viticulture) and seasonal crops.
- Preferably 5 years (or more) of professional experience in support to public sector agricultural authorities at central and local levels.
- Preferably 5 years (or more) of relevant international experience (outside the country of origin) in the field of irrigation development for both perennial (including viticulture) and seasonal crops.
- Preferably 10 years of relevant professional experience in irrigation engineering design.
- Experience as a Team Leader/project management position on preferably two (or more) relevant IFI/donor (EIB EU WB KFW EBRD AFD ADB others) financed projects in the past 10 years will be an asset.
- Excellent command of English (CEFR C1.
- Knowledge of Georgian or Russian would be a distinct advantage.
