Opportunity
As Financial Controller you will be ensuring full compliance with local statutory framework as well as Group Accounting and Reporting rules. It is an individual contributor role without direct reports however demands coordination supervision and management of the service delivery of the appropriate parties: Global Service Center (GSC) local service providers (e.g. Legal services Tax advisors Auditors Payroll Services etc. and serving as Subject Matter Expert for local and group accounting projects.

Key Responsibilities in relation with Maersk Contract Logistics France
- Performing period end tasks accruals and support controlling tasks.
- Ensuring that all the General Ledger accounting and Financial Management Reporting is done in accordance with IFRS (IFRS16 etc. and APMM GAP requirements as well as local GAAP.
- Responsible for HR related accounting postings (payroll reconciliation followup on provisions etc.
- Responsible for tax compliance with support of external service provider
- Responsible for audit compliance
- Responsible for specific risk and control environment processes (RICC Controls).
- Responsible for identifying and delivering improvement projects.
- Responsible for SG&A (selling general and administrative expenses) monthly controlling and budget processes.
- Ensuring high data quality.
- Act as the entry point for vendor escalation (e.g.: litigation).
- Ensure that local documentary requirements are satisfied (i.e. board minutes shareholders authorization etc..
- Support for finance related ad hoc projects.
Key Responsibilities in relation with Maersk Logistics & Services France
- Responsible for SG&A (selling general and administrative expenses) monthly controlling and budget processes.
- Support in upcoming adhoc projects (NFTP Gollum)
- Act as backup of Financial Controller Maersk Logistics & Services France.
We are looking for
- Bachelors degree in economics accounting
- Solid experience required in Accounting. Previous experience in an audit company is an advantage.
- SAPuser knowledge is a plus.
- Solid computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Advanced Excel skills and ability to quickly adapt to new systems strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in Logistics field is a huge asset.
- Language: French and English (fluent in both spoken and written English is a must)
