Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Finishing Joiner to join our client in Aberdeen. As a Finishing Joiner you will be responsible for ensuring that woodworking projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and precision. Your primary focus will be on the final touches and details that give our projects their polished appearance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform finishing work on woodworking projects including sanding staining painting and varnishing.
- Install fixtures fittings and hardware such as handles hinges and locks.
- Ensure that all finished products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finishing Joiner or similar role.
- Proficiency in woodworking techniques and tools.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality work.
- Ability to interpret blueprints drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Certification or apprenticeship in joinery or carpentry is preferred but not required.
