PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Electrician is responsible for the maintenance and operation of all electrical systems in the district.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate or GED required
At least three years experience in electrical field Journeymans License
Able to read blueprints and schematics Dependable and cooperative.
Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and be insurable

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Performs electrical work in the district that requires a licensed electrician.
Maintains the time keeping clock bell systems and public address systems
Make repairs and new installations that are acceptable to the building code and/or local city
ordinance.
Responsible for successfully completing all work orders and submit to office staff in a timely
manner.
Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.
Perform other relate duties as assigned.

EQUIPMENT USED:
Electric power tools district vehicle twoway radio aerial lift trenching machines

WORKING CONDITION:
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Strenuous walking standing and/or climbing; heavy lifting and carrying.
Work outside and inside; exposure to extreme weather conditions; working on slippery or uneven walking surfaces;
working on ladders and scaffolding.
