About the Position:

  • Manage engineering projects from initiation to completion ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their needs and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineers designers and support staff to achieve project objectives and deliver highquality results.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure that engineering deliverables meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor project budgets expenses and resource allocation to ensure financial success.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams addressing engineering challenges and ensuring the application of best practices.
  • Conduct cost analysis throughout the project in order to determine estimates to complete and/or additional funding requirements.
  • Address questions concerns and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Ensure compliance with client contractual requirements and company regulations standards specifications and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.: Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas (strongly preferred).
  • Education: Bachelors degree in electrical engineering
  • 10 years of experience working in a refinery or chemical plant and/or with a consulting firm representing similar industries

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of desk work including sitting and computer usage.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds when required.
