Job Description
Essential Job Functions
- Understand project scope requirements design and project documentation
- Write test plans and test procedures to execute test plans and applicable testing for local systems
- Work closely with development team to cover the testing needs of new features and enhancements.
- Document results of testing with software developers and other team members
- Prepare test data
- Use and analyze applications under test
- Identifies issues problems defects and reports on test results
Essential Job Duties
- Serves as liaison between User and IT
- Contribute to product quality through testing
- Perform various testing techniques to identify high risk areas refine requirements and isolate bugs to increase stability of applications under test
- Performs work under general supervision.
- Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higherlevel staff.
- Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
- May provide leadership coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group
Minimum Work Experience/Educational Requirements
- Bachelors degree in an information technology field of study or related field or 6 9 years of experience in an Information Technology role supporting software development
- Familiarity with Java PHP HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Minimum of 4 years experience writing test cases
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Works under general office environment conditions
- Sitting for extended periods utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers equipment etc.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA
- Requires occasional early morning or late evening teleconferences
- International and domestic travel as required
