Job Description
Overview
Knowledge Services a leading multidisciplinary organization in the software professional services and cyber security industry is seeking a Staff Accountant. This position will be a key member of the Finance team reporting directly to the Corporate Controller and working with others throughout the Company. Our ideal candidate will be handson and willing to implement new processes as needed not satisfied with just learning how things were done previously. You will join a team that is passionate about improving the daily function of the finance team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain annual state registrations
- Perform monthend close which includes but is not limited to bank reconciliations and various account reconciliations
- Analyze actual to budget variances to ensure accuracy of financials
- Assist with annual audit
Qualifications
- Minimum 13 years Staff Accountant
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and advanced formulas
- Experience with Intercompany transactions
- Microsoft GP experience preferred but not
- Selfstarter and excellent communication skills
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
