Job Description
This position is located in Puerto Rico and requires the ability to travel around the island to meet with clients and stakeholders.Commutable to our Guaynabo PR ICF office for essential meetings.

What will you be doing
- Lead design development and optimization of spatial databases and map services.
- Support backend development for webbased geospatial applications including geoprocessing and internal APIs.
- Recommend approaches to meeting a varied set of end user needs through the implementation of data pipelines.
- Support strategic thinking and automation processes related to infrastructure web mapping platforms and geodatabase schema design.
- Perform data profiling and analysis for spatial and nonspatial data.
What you must have:
- Bachelors degree (e.g. Geographic Information Systems Computer Science Engineering or related discipline).
- 8 years of experience managing enterprise geodatabases.
- 8 years of experience with ArcGIS Enterprise (Server and Portal).
- 8 years of experience managing backend database processing and infrastructure using ETL scripts such as Python.
- US Citizenship is required (required by the federal government for this position).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
- Ability to travel up to 25 in Puerto Rico as requested.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
What wed like you to know:
- Design practices for relational and columnar databases.
- Familiarity with managing and tuning web servers and GIS servers.
- Familiarity with syncing mobile/field data
- Familiarity with cloud solutions for data management and ETL
- Demonstrated experience showing strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills paired with a desire to take initiative.
