We are building a new and highvisibility selfservice API experience that will bring Dolbys innovations to new and existing customers. This is an individual contributor developer role which requires knowledge of web and mobile application development with good technical writing skills. You will build technical demos small applications and the tutorials to help others create them too. You will be working with talented engineers on cuttingedge technologies while growing your skills as an engineer and providing the help and support other developers need.
We are looking for someone who can work well in a startup within an organization and can bring flexibility speed and quality to our team. You should have a solid background in the fundamentals of software development as well as a deep understanding of best practices in various languages and technologies. Additionally you should be passionate about and take great personal pride in building cool tools for other developers to use.
If you are eager to learn develop and teach others and like to be challenged this is the perfect opportunity for you to help define this exciting new field for Dolby.
Key requirements & attributes for successful applicants include:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science Software Engineering or comparable field.
- 2 years professional experience developing & deploying welldesigned applications.
- Proficiency using modern web development technologies including HTML5 JavaScript CSS etc.
- Proficiency with Angular.js React Node.JS jQuery.
- Familiarity with mobile application development such as Kotlin/Android Swift/iOS or crossplatform.
- Clear understanding and emphasis on customercentered usability and design.
- Professional experience consuming REST APIs to integrate into new solutions.
- Experience with mediabased services(audio/video media ingest and distribution) is desirable.
- High level written and verbal communication in both general and technologyspecific applications.
