Job Description
The Gear Centre Group a leading provider of powertrain parts and service for the off highway heavy truck and automotive industries is currently recruiting for a full time Mechanic for our Off Highway Division located in Surrey BC.
Journeyman and/or Apprentice Mechanics in the following trades:
Transmission Technician/Rebuilder
Heavy Equipment Technician (HET)
Heavy Duty Mechanic
Truck and Transport Mechanic
Diesel Engine Mechanic
- Previous experience with powershift automatic and/or manual transmissions as well as differentials and planetary axles would be considered an asset
- Knowledge of ZF Dana (Clark) Funk AxleTech (Rockwell) and/or Allison powertrain components would be considered an asset
- Valid Drivers License with an acceptable abstract
- Must have your own tools
